We now have 3 apprentices in key departments of our company; James is working with our procurement team, Holly is gaining valuable experience with our despatch department, and our latest arrival, Molly, is just beginning her apprenticeship with our sales team.
Apprenticeships like this are placing learners directly within real working environments to develop job-specific skills and an understanding of the workplace that cannot be replicated in a classroom environment.
With highly experienced staff providing mentorship to these students, they’re not only gaining hands-on experience in specific roles, but also benefiting from the professional guidance of staff with decades of experience in the industry.
As part of this collaboration with Chesterfield College, we’re giving apprentices meaningful tasks, ensuring the experience they gain is valuable and rewarding. We’re providing an environment that inspires confidence, growth and keeps students motivated.
